St. Augustine Prostitution Lawyer
Prostitution & Related Acts
If you have been arrested for prostitution or a prostitution-related offense, you face the possibility of being sent to jail, fines, and not to mention a permanent criminal record. If you don’t have a criminal record, or if you have a reputation, a career, or a family to protect, you need help from our St. Augustine prostitution lawyers at Albaugh Law Firm, and you need it fast!
We understand that prostitution and other sex crimes are sensitive by nature, whether or not this is your first run-in with the law. While a first-time prostitution charge is a misdemeanor, there is nothing minor about a conviction, especially if you are normally an upstanding, law-abiding citizen, or facing a felony conviction for a third-time arrest.
Penalties for Prostitution in Florida
Despite the fact that most prostitution offenses occur between two “consensual adults,” virtually any act related to prostitution is criminalized under Florida law. Thus, even if an arrangement seems harmless, the heavy hands of justice disagree. Don’t fall victim to the harsh criminal justice system—instead, reach out to our aggressive St. Augustine criminal defense lawyers for help.
