Attorney Ryan Albaugh Provides Counsel for the Bolles Mock Trial Team
Attorney Ryan Albaugh recently traveled to Yale University to assist the Bolles Mock Trial team at the 2015 Bulldog Invitational mock trial tournament. Mr. Albaugh rehearsed with the team and offered his invaluable insight to sharpen their skills, helping them eventually rank second place out of twelve.
The Yale Mock Trial Association holds the prestigious Bulldog Invitational every year. Formatted as a round-robin style competition, this invitational involves four separate, three-hour-long trial mockups for each team. Each round of the tournament is designed to be as close to a real trial as possible, complete with opening statements, cross examination, objections, and the admission of evidence. Competing teams prepare both sides of each trial, representing one side as determined by a coin flip.
Albaugh Law Firm is proud to support these aspiring lawyers and hope to continue to support educational endeavors like this in the future. Our Jacksonville attorneys are grateful for the opportunity to be involved with this great event, and we wish the members of the Bolles Mock Trial team nothing but the best in their future careers.
